Industry Insiders: El Beso

El Beso or "The Kiss" in Spanish brings their fresh take on authentic Mexican flavours to the heart of Edmonton. The food is inspired by cuisine in Tulum, a small town in Mexico. Located on Jasper Ave next to Beaver Hill Park, El Beso's central location makes it easy to enjoy the patio on a warm Edmonton evening or in the cozy dining room year-round.

El Beso describes themselves as

"Rooted in the Mexican tradition of drinking tequila and fine mezcals a besitos - sipped in 'little kisses,' that way you can distinguish the unique flavours and fully experience the complexity of the drink."

Their top-notch cocktail program and an extensive list of handpicked tequila and mezcal reflect this sentiment.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Alex Pocock, Meg Stearman, and Jason Fletcher to learn more about their personal journey's in the restaurant industry and the evolution of food culture in Edmonton. Watch the full video to see what they had to say.
